Human Resources Manager

Enerfin Resources Company is seeking an energetic individual to manage its Human Resource functions in its corporate headquarters in Houston, Texas. The position will report to the Managing Directors of the company. Enerfin Resources is a rapidly growing company engaged in:
• providing natural gas field services (gathering, processing, treating),
• oil & gas development & production, and
• natural gas, natural gas liquids, crude oil and condensate marketing.
The company is privately-held and has a 17 year track record of providing superior services to producer-customers in the energy business. Duties/Responsibilities:

• Manage all activities related to the administration of payroll and employee benefits programs.
• Assist managers with all activities related to the identification, recruiting and hiring of new employees.
• Develop, recommend, and implement employee policies and procedures.
• Regularly analyze, provide data & recommendations with respect to compensation programs.
• Coordinate all corporate communications with employees, including maintenance of intranet website.
• Monitor performance evaluation programs and work with managers to update as necessary.
• Assist managers in the development and delivery of employee training programs.
• Participate in the investigation and resolution of ongoing employee relations matters.
• Responsible for compliance with Federal and State legislation pertaining to all personnel matters.
• Maintain personnel employment records.

Skills Required:
• Minimum 5 yrs. HR experience, 2+ years of management experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in principles and practices of personnel administration.
• Demonstrated ability to develop long-term plans and programs and to evaluate work accomplishments.
• Working knowledge of oil & gas/energy business and personnel requirements preferred.
• Effective leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with ADP/HRB desired.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in the use of Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
