Human Resources Manager

Business Unit: GE MoneyFunction: Human ResourcesResponsibilities: Directs and coordinates human resources activities, such as employment, compensation, employee relations, benefits, training, and employee services by performing the following duties: Lead HR functions for two wholesale mortgage production regions at WMC located in Schaumburg, IL
Lead recruitment and selection processes as well as develop and implement innovative candidate sourcing strategies
Provide guidance and expertise to management in employee relations and investigations
Implement performance programs including performance management, EMS, Succession Planning (Session C), GE Opinion Survey, and employee/management training.
Lead salary and bonus planning for the client group.
Manage new employee on-boarding and assimilation
Act as a partner to senior regional leadership in recommending HR strategies to achieve overall business goals, driving these from conception to implementation

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: * Minimum 5 years as a human resources manager/generalist
Familiarity with HR functions, including organizational design & development, recruitment, performance management, compensation, training, and employee relations
Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Very strong interpersonal and communication skills- written and verbal
Demonstrated coaching, influencing and facilitator skills.Desired: * Bachelors/Masters Degree
Mortgage or Financial Services Experience
Six Sigma Certification
