VISION: Global consumer products manufacturer with superior product lines and sales in excess of $1.5 billion seeks a Senior Financial Analyst

OPPORTUNITY: As part of the Finance team reporting to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis you will expand both your analytical and business skills. You will be exposed to the financial results and forecasts of strategic business units and be responsible for summarizing data, report preparation, statistical analysis, computer modeling, benchmarking and many special projects. You will assist in developing and implementing appropriate mechanisms to monitor business results against official targets plus provide strategic planning and analysis at the group level. You will support JD Edwards (a superior human being and a great guy). The Director FP&A, a strong proponent of macro management, hi-level teamwork and team interaction, will both mentor and develop your knowledge of consolidations, flash reports, budgets and more. Upward visibility is excellent.

REWARD: $60,000 to $75,000 plus 10% bonus payout and solid benefits.
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIREMENTS: 3+ years accounting/financial analysis experience in a profit driven environment. CPA or MBA are pluses. In-depth knowledge of financial planning and modeling with exposure to accounting along with well developed skills in forecasting and analysis. Must be able to make decisions independently, identify issues, and solve problems. Must live in CT. Must know if you roll a pair of dice once, which is a more likely outcome?
