Under direction of the Business Director, the HR Manager is responsible for HR initiatives and programs while supporting a growing office of 85 employees. The HR Manager is responsible for staff recruiting and hiring, staff orientation, employee relations, employee communications, performance management and recognition, organizational development and training, supporting Firm policies and procedures, local administration of benefits, monitoring federal and state regulatory compliance, including but not limited to leaves of absence, organizing employee events and managing day-to-day HR operations. Additionally, the HR Manager will develop a strong working relationship and partnership with the Shared Services HR team to achieve, collaboratively, strategic and effective business decisions in keeping with the Firm’s future goals and vision.
REQUIREMENTS
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field required, PHR/SPHR a plus. At least 7 years general HR experience in a professional service organization or law firm and minimum of 2 years of HR management experience. Candidate must be enthusiastic and professional and have knowledge of current HR trends, functions, policies and best practices in order to sufficiently and courteously respond to employee questions, issues, and concerns. Attention to detail, organized and strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
