Our Client, a Northern California General Contracting company headquartered in San Francisco, is seeking a Human Resources Manager to support its internal employees and field staff (100 field employees).
This company has a high customer service culture and reputation. Therefore, our client is seeking the right HR Manager to support management and its employee base with a hands-on customer service and support philosophy, as well as the ability to develop strong relationships through trust and credibility.
Our Client is seeking an HR Manager / Generalist with 3 to 5 years of experience with an emphasis in recruiting, benefits, employee relations, new hire orientation, and training and development.
This position requires a self-starter attitude and ability to problem-solve independently. (this position is an Independent Contributor role and has no direct reports)
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
·Recruitment - dealing with various search firms and other sources of prospective personnel including college career fairs, etc.
·Training - establishing history files and setting up of training matrix and compliance. In addition to establishing and training for required courses by position including Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, Superintendent, etc.
·Benefits - annual enrollment and working with Benefit Brokers
·New Hire Orientation - new employment paperwork for exempt and non-exempt employees
·Knowledge of ABRA software helpful.
·Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Construction, General Contracting or related industry experience a plus, but not required.
Annual Salary Range - $80,000 to $85,000 plus comprehensive benefits
