Provides a variety of human resources services for Silver Hill, focusing on employee relations and interaction with branch offices.
Act as a liaison between Silver Hill and corporate human resources.
Manages HR specialist in the Silver Hill Denver office.
Proactively communicates with all levels of employees to foster a positive work environment
REQUIREMENTS
Experience with counseling employees and managers during difficult work related situations.
Acts as a neutral party to solve problems.
Also facilitates employees and assists them with personal situations which impair their work performance
Administers the Disciplinary Action process when necessary. Documents all stages. Confers with Corporate HR
Assists employees with benefit related questions
Career Development - work with employees to: identify job-related knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies to enhance current performance, explore interests, strategically plan career goals, create and design an action plan to achieve goals.
Creates and manages Silver Hill compensation plan, including salary levels, job grades and job descriptions
Completes paperwork to hire, promote or transfer Silver Hill employees, receives approval signatures and forwards paperwork to Corporate HR
Travels to all branch offices on a quarterly basis to provide human resources visibility and assistance to branch employees
Special projects as assigned by Managing Director or Vice President
Experience Required:
• Thorough knowledge of Federal and State employment law.
• Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees and management.
Bachelor’s degree preferred. Five to Seven years employee relations and benefits experience preferred.
Prefer PHR or SPHR
