Human Resources Generalist

Unique opportunity for an experienced HR professional to work for a residential treatment facility in Norfolk. Must have a working knowledge of all facets of HR including: quicker hiring, employee retention, benefits administration, employee relations, worker’s compensation, affirmative action, EEO, wage and salary administration, and federal and state employment laws. An understanding of JCAHO accreditation process and HIPAA regulations is a plus.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business related field and at least three or more years HR experience. The optimal candidate is PHR/SPHR certified and ready to take the next step in the career ladder from a HR Specialist or HR Generalist position into this hands-on role. Change management experience helpful.
