Human Resources Generalist

AVI Foodsystems, Inc. is growing and we want you to grow with us! AVI is looking for a motivated, qualified individual to work in our Employee Relations Department.

The Human Resources Generalist will work directly with the Employee Relations Manager, Employee Relations team and the Human Resources Department.

Responsibilities will include:
•Supporting the Employee Relations Manager in responding to all calls from the field and Headquarters
•Drafting and responding to all EEOC inquiries
•Coordinating and assisting in all harassment investigations
•Advising the field on proper documentation and counseling of employees based on Company policy and current state and federal employment law
•Reviewing all incoming documentation from the field to ensure Company compliance to all State and Federal laws

REQUIREMENTS
Prior experience in Human Resources is required.

The Human Resources Generalist will:
•Be able to prioritize job duties while maintaining an efficient, organized work environment
•Possess superior written and verbal skills and be able to communicate with all levels of the company
•Have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
•Be able to work independently without direct supervision
•Be computer proficient with Microsoft Office software
•Have at least 1-3 years experience working in a generalist capacity
•Have broad based experience and knowledge of federal and state employment laws, unemployment compensation, benefits and training in a multi-state, multi-site environment.
