Human Resources Coordinator

Volt Services Group is seeking a talented HR Coordinator to work for one of the most recognized and established organizations in Chicago. This role is imperative to the continued growth of the HR department and the company as a whole. In this position, you would primarily support the HR Director. You will be responsible for coordinating meetings and keeping the HR Director on task. You will assist in projects and be able to switch tasks unexpectedly. This is a highly emotional environment so you will need to use your communication skills to speak to many different people from senior level executives to entry level associates. This is an organization that welcomes new ideas and initiatives.

Requirements:

To excel in this position you must be a team player. There is no room for people who only want to make themselves shine. The passion you feel for your position must be demonstrated daily by the work you produce and relationships you make. Your ability to work independently with little direction is critical to your success. You will want to jump in and assist whenever you can and the words, "this isn't my job" should never be spoken or implied. The maturity you demonstrate in everyday interactions will be recognized and appreciated.
To be further considered, you must have working knowledge of benefits, new hire orientations and a general understanding of compensation. When you succeed at this role for an anticipated time of a year and a half, you hard work will be rewarded by a promotion to an HR Generalist position. You must also have supported an executive for a minimum of 1 year, preferably within the HR Department.
