Human Resources Coordinator

Department: Human ResourcesJob Summary:
Conduct training for both new and existing Payroll/Benefits Specialists in the stores and facilities
Support Global, National, and Regional HR initiatives
Set and achieve goals quarterly
Provide consistent and timely HR support for the Payroll/Benefits team as well as the Store Team Leaders
Lead new store openings with a full complement of HR functionality
Plan and conduct store/facility investigations where necessary
Develop Succession Plan to support Whole Foods Market-Midwest's growth
Research and keep current on state/provincial law
Provide legal updates to the Payroll/Benefits team and the Store Team Leaders
Learn litigation management system
Field employment law questions
Organize PBS conferences twice a year
Be conversant in Dept. of omeland Security guidelines/requirements
Conduct HR Assessments at assigned stores/facilities
Work integrally with Education, Risk/Safety, and Operations leadership to achieve cross-functional goals
Hire, train, counsel and participate in performance reviews for Payroll/Benefits Specialists
Other duties as assigned by the Team Member Services Director
REQUIREMENTS
Experience in an HR Generalist in a senior management role
Demonstrated success being responsible for HR functions for multiple business units concurrently
Self-direction *Clear, direct, open communication style
Knowledge of Whole Foods Market business and leadership philosophy is a plus *Knowledge of all disciplines in the HR realm
Ability to communicate across all levels of team membership and team leadership *Exceptional presentation skills
Ability to travel 50% of the time
Desire to build on success, take risks, and grow into a Team Member Services Director role *
