New United Motor Manufacturing, Inc. (NUMMI) is the pioneering joint venture of General Motors Corporation and Toyota Motor Corporation. Established in Fremont, CA in 1984, NUMMI helped change the automotive industry by introducing the Toyota Production System and teamwork-based working environment to the United States.

About the Opportunity
New United Motor Manufacturing, Inc. is currently seeking a skilled Benefits professional. The professional will have a demonstrated ability to understand and implement best practices in a union environment.
Job Duties
Provide Customer Service to all levels of the organizations.
Respond to written and oral questions regarding Benefit matters.
Process monthly premium payments, resolve benefit eligibility questions and assist with annual open enrollment seasons.
Complete annual 5500 reports.
Process annual benefit statements.
Complete assorted Benefit projects as assigned.
Complete annual benefit plan renewals.
Demonstrate understanding of defined benefit and defined contribution plans.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
Certified Benefits Professional (preferred).
BA or BS Degree (preferred).
5-10 years Professional Human Resources/Benefits experience.
Ability to understand and correctly apply complex benefit and eligibility rules.
Well organized.
Excellent written and verbal communications.
Ability to use ProBusiness, PeopleSoft, Excel and Word in porcessing reports.
