Human Resources Assistant

Assist Director of Human Resources in administration and clerical duties for training, benefits enrollment, data entry, reports, and special events. Duties include scheduling meetings/training/orientation/company special events, screening applicants, administering testings/screenings, employee communications such as newsletters, desktop publishing for training materials, and maintanence of HR computer system. Act as service center for employees answering questions and problem-solving basic issues.
REQUIREMENTS
Certificate or two year human resource management graduate. 1+ years experience in HR department preferred. New grads can apply. Excellent customer relations skills a must. Detail oriented, strong organizational and inter-personal relationship skills required. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and Pathways. Proficient in desktop publishing applications such as Microsoft Publisher, Frontpage. Desire to work in the HR Assistant role; this position does not offer promotional opportunites within near future.
