Human Resources Analyst (Benefits & Compensation)

More than 1,600 employees serve these clients worldwide.We are searching for an experienced HR Analyst to join our growing HR department in our headquarters in Fairfax, VA. The Analyst’s primary responsibilities will be working with the Directors of Compensation and Benefits in but not limited to the following areas:•Preparing reports to include – incentive compensation, bonus programs, stock plans, budgeting•Compiling and analyzing benefits and/or compensation surveys and reporting findings to Directors of Benefits and/or Compensation.•Assisting with benefits and compensation matters with respect to the integration of mergers and acquisitions•Documenting benefits and/or compensation processes and procedures to streamline workflows and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements•Working with HRIS staff to make sure benefits and compensation needs are reflected in PeopleSoft•Working with Practices and recruiters on compensation issues•Administering company leave programs including FMLA and disability•Coordinating retirement plan audits•Fulfilling benefits-related legal reporting requirements including Form 5500•Responding to employee inquiries regarding benefits and acting as liaison between employees and insurance providers to resolve benefits issues•Performing special benefits projects as assigned•Conducting new employee orientations
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of general benefits and compensation experience including working knowledge about state and federal laws that apply to benefits and compensation programs (e.g., COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, FLSA), demonstrated experience fulfilling governmental reporting requirements. (e.g., Forms 5500 filings), familiarity with current marketplace trends and proficient computer skills. The HR Analyst must have strong analytical and communications skills both verbal and written and the ability to work in a dynamic team environment and, must be organized, detail oriented, solution driven and flexible.
