Human Resources Administrator
We are an expanding construction company looking for a bilingual (English/Spanish) Human Resources Administrator.
Human Resources Administrator Responsibilities:
Process new employees by obtaining all required documentation.
Create and maintain all personnel files ensuring they are accurate and complete.
Maintain all employee salary information including rates and work classifications.
Assist with payroll preparation and administer payroll during payroll clerk’s absence.
Provides back-up information for payroll including garnishments, child support, etc.
Track and maintain attendance records for all employees.
Administer all benefit plans including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), etc.
Process requests for field workers from Unions for various projects.
Involved in the design and administration of all HR policies and procedures.
Prepare all internal employee communications regarding HR policies and procedures.
P/R liaison for all field workers in communicating company policies and procedures.
Involved in all aspects of job advertisement, recruiting, interviewing, and related tasks.
Collect and analyze HR data and make recommendations to management.
Schedule, plan, and administer all employee reviews.

REQUIREMENTS
Human Resources Administrator Job Requirements:
A Bachelors, Technical or similar Business degree in Human Resources is preferred, or 3+ years equivalent experience.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a must.
Proficient with computer, HR systems, and MS Office software. Excellent verbal, written, communication, and counseling skills.
Knowledge of Federal and California employment legislation and labor laws.
Knowledge of Prevailing Wage law and PLA’s a +.
Experience working in a construction company preferred.
