HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

Loyola University Health System, located between downtown Chicago & Oak Brook and five minutes north of Brookfield Zoo, is one of the Chicago area’s most respected health care organizations. Loyola is recognized nationally for excellence in patient care, education and research.

We are currently seeking a Human Resources Manager to provide management, administrative and consultation services in relation to the following:

- Candidate recruitment, including interviewing and selecting qualified candidates to fill vacancies at all levels within the medical center for assigned departments.

- Employee relations, including employee and management counseling, conflict resolution, developing work improvement plans, participating in identification and resolution of work redesign.

- Interpret Human Resource policies and practices for administrators and employees.

- Administration of compensation and benefits programs for assigned departments, including review of annual performance reviews, unemployment compensation and workers compensation claim process, FMLA and general leave of absence procedures.

- Manage, coach and counsel Human Resources support staff.

- Develop and conduct new employee and new manager orientation programs.

- Serve as Human Resources consultant on various medical center committees.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field required; Master's Degree or equivalent experience preferred, Minimum five years Human Resources management experience required, excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to provide leadership in areas of conflict resolution, counseling, mentoring and training, excellent presentation skills, computer literacy, and knowledge of employment law required.
