Employment Account Executive - Outside

·Achieve period & quarterly revenue goal by investigating the needs of advertisers and selling customized advertising programs that include a broad array of recruitment products ranging from ranging from Classified advertising, internet, impact fliers, ROP ads, special sections and other products that may meet customer needs. Upsell existing customers to achieve growth in employment category.
·Achieve period & quarterly average line, frequency and on-line goals.
·Systematically monitor and prospect the marketplace of assigned segment of business. Actively seek out networking opportunities with employment professionals through the Chamber of Commerce, colleges, staffing services, advertising agencies and health care organizations to uncover employment needs and/or opportunities.
·Build and maintain database of all information obtained from marketplace. Work with Employment Sales Manager to identify and develop creative products to address the needs of the employment-advertising segment.
·Meet or exceed applicable special section/feature goals. Coordinate key special employment sections/products/events.
·Prepare and sell minimum required written sales presentations, which address specific customer needs. These should include documented needs assessment with an analysis of critical issues, written proposals and presentation including a calendar and spec ad (unless account is using an agency).
REQUIREMENTS
1.College degree and/or 2 years newspaper advertising or other media advertising sales experience required. Must be able to plan sales time effectively, meet advertisers’ needs and meet deadlines to achieve goals. Must be able to focus on multiple tasks simultaneously. Must have excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
2.Computer (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and Internet knowledge required.
