EAP Specialist -- P/T Position, Masters Degree Required!

If you would like a change from direct care, but still want to use your clinical skills and expertise to assist those in need, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding, growth-oriented position. In this role you would assess care needs and initiate EAP referrals for callers with a variety of issues, including workplace stress, family problems and mental health issues.
Primary responsibilities include:
Providing telephonic assistance to employees with a variety of issues
Responding to crisis calls
Determining member eligibility and benefit coverage
Triaging calls as appropriate
Initiating counseling referrals and providing certification for appropriate outpatient care
Updating and making clinical notes in the care management database
Job Requirements:
A Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or related field is required, with 5 years post-graduate work. LPC, LSW or LMFT is strongly preferred. EAP experience or CEAP certification would be helpful, as would a background that includes a wide variety of settings/patient populations. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. The chosen candidate will be computer savvy, flexible, and able to take instruction. *All shifts involve weekends and evenings.
