Diversity Manager
POSITION SUMMARY:
Individual will be responsible for defining and executing a Diversity strategy that aligns with company business strategy, HR priorities and contributes to the development of an inclusive work environment. Individual will play a significant role in making Nestlé USA a 'Preferred Employer'. This includes benchmarking, internal assessment, policy design, and program implementation to order to foster positive change.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
~ Develop and deliver strategic diversity initiatives aimed at enhancing and sustaining diversity and inclusion throughout Nestlé USA.
~ Lead efforts to operational and integrate diversity programs into business strategies.
~ Develop partnerships with ethnic, minority and other diverse communities and universities to foster mutual support and understanding.
~ Create reports, analyze data and create presentations to support diversity recommendations that drive a call to action.
~ Utilize various data resources such as the HR database, HR metrics tools and applicant tracking systems to gather and analyze data.
~ Ensure recruiting and hiring practices reflect our commitment to diversity by driving the development and implementation of diversity recruitment strategy. This includes managing the relationships with business professional organizations and coordination of Target's involvement in conferences and career fairs (e.g., National Black MBA, National Society of Hispanic MBAs, National Association of Asian American Professionals, etc.).
~ Campus Relations - Develops and maintains diversity objectives and goals related to campus relations and recruitment. Partners with campus recruiters in their diversity recruiting initiatives and action plans. This includes 'closing the deal' and on-boarding strategies for diverse campus new hires.
~ Executive Recruiting 'Identifies and helps qualify search firms, agencies, and other resources to identify top candidates for executive positions. Builds a network to facilitate diverse referrals for employment opportunities with Target. Helps to 'close the deal' and develop on-boarding strategies for diverse experienced new hires.
~ Measurement ' Works closely with HRIS to analyze hiring data and identify recruitment opportunities. Reviews new hire survey data to identify recruitment and on-boarding issues and works with HR peers to develop action plans.

REQUIREMENTS
REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
Bachelor's degree in Business, HR/OD, or other related field. Professional certification at SPHR level or MS/MBA equivalent in related field.
EXPERIENCE:
~ Minimum of seven-ten years in diversity/EEO, human resources, marketing, communications or community relations in a company of similar or larger size.
~ Experience with strategic planning and the ability to stay abreast of leading market/industry trends to translate them into sound business recommendations is critical.
LEADERSHIP:
Executive leadership characteristics with regard to communications, teamwork, personal integrity, and strategic thinking.
SKILLS:
~ Must be highly collaborative and possess the ability to work with key stakeholders to develop pragmatic, value-added solutions that drive measurable results within the context of an organization's business strategy.
~ Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated leadership skills are required, along with proven results in a dynamic team environment.
~ Strong analytical, project management, HRIS and organizational skills are essential.
~ Recruiting, community relations or marketing experience would be beneficial.
~ Knowledge and experience working with diversity college and or community organizations would also be a plus.
~ Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively address all levels within the organization.
~ Manage execution, provide direction, and champion change.
~ Focus on customer needs with a commitment to quality.
~ Effectively handles pressures and demands from multiple customers and competing priorities.
~ Results oriented, team building and development.
~ If the person was bilingual that would be a plus.
