We are seeking a Director of Human Resources who will be an innovative partner in developing a strategic and future-focused human resources function. A core team objective is to build an industry-dominating performance culture. We are looking for a team player to fill this role and who can help take Citysearch to higher levels of success in the industry.
The essential functional HR competencies of this role are:
Business Understanding: Ability to explore and understand the inter-relations of the business processes, financial metrics, and organizational systems and structures.
Compensation and Benefits: Demonstrated ability to understand and apply total pay concepts to attract, motivate, and retain key employees in the organization.
Organizational Development: Demonstrated ability to use a systems perspective to diagnose an organization and facilitate process improvements and organizational capacity building.
Employee Effectiveness: Demonstrated ability to keep in touch with the workforce, anticipating employee reaction and impact of business decisions.
Performance Management: Knowledge of the process of performance management that includes defining success, establishing measurements, providing feedback, and rewarding performance.
Staffing: Ability to partner with the Talent Acquisition function by building action plans with staffing partners to maintain active pipeline of talent.
Workforce Planning: Demonstrated ability to identify the HR talent acquisition implications of a 3-year business strategy and to implement solutions to meet identified needs.
Employee Communications: Skills in developing a strategy to implement a plan to ensure effective communication channels within the multiple levels in the organization.
Group Dynamics: Knowledge of team effectiveness/facilitation skills, and models.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Undergraduate degree is required; advanced degree is a plus.
Professional Qualifications
A successful track record of exceptional human resources management experience for at least 7 years operating as a business partner.
Demonstration of sustained success, as evidenced by client groups profitable growth in which you were the leader of the HR function.
Direct experience working in interactive media and technology is desirable.
Accustomed to working in a rapidly-changing, high growth environment and able to provide leadership engendering drive and team cooperation while being fully
Capable of making tough decisions and acting on them as appropriate. Able to articulate clear, meaningful goals and focus peoples efforts to deliver results.
Strong background in core HR functions such as compensation and/or organizational development will be a big plus. In addition, must have been in a senior advisor role to business unit leader. Experience managing and leading HR professionals is preferred.
