Director of Compensation

Reporting to the Vice President, Compensation, the Director of Compensation functions effectively as a Strategic Human Resource Business Partner and Project Leader in the development and implementation of Corporate Compensation Initiatives. This individual plays a key role in defining and communicating compensation strategy and policy across all levels of the organization. This individual ensures direct compensation programs and practices are in compliance with state/federal regulations and are in alignment with internal objectives. This individual is responsible for research and statistical studies pertaining to compensation issues and develops detailed recommendations for the implementation of new programs or the modification of existing programs. Consults with management on complex issues related to job evaluation, salary budget and administration, base pay and incentive compensation and may lead and/or participate in project teams.
REQUIREMENTS
8 -10 years compensation/project management experience in designing and administering compensation programs (Sales focus considered a plus)
Bachelor’s Degree required in Business, Human Resources or related field. MBA considered a plus/preferred.
Strong Project Management skills
Strong relationship building skills
Conflict resolution and consensus building skills
Strategic planning skills along with the ability to execute and drive results
Effective change management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
