Director, Human Resources

Group Overview:
Schwab Investor Services (IS) HR provides HR and ER support and
guidance to the business leaders and employees of this enterprise.
Responsibilities:
This role and two HR Generalists (one in San Francisco and one in
Austin, TX, supporting Cyber Trader) provides HR leadership and
guidance for three business leaders and organizations in Schwab IS:
Client Experience (including CyberTrader), Client Web Services, and
Client Portfolio Solutions and SCIR/M.Qualifications:
8 - 10 years of progressively more responsible HR experience
with exposure to and demonstrated competence in several HR
functional areas
Demonstrated successful experience consulting with all levels
of management
Strong customer focus and be able to state a business viewpoint Ability to think and speak both strategically and tactically
Able to effectively and quickly build relationships and
establish trust, respect, competence, and confidence
Excellent change management skills, i.e., comfortable with
uncertainty, ambiguity, and constant change, yet able to set
priorities and execute on commitments
Results focus, being able to quickly sort through information
and develop concise and clear solutions
Courage and confidence to deliver constructive feedback and
coaching to clients
Prior Financial Services HR Generalist experience preferred;
experience with strategy, marketing, and financial services
product development preferred for this position
MBA or equivalent preferred
