Created in 2001, HealthServicesNW provides patient financial services to health care facilities in Washington. Jointly owned by Providence Health System and Swedish Health Services, it provides business office support to Providence and Swedish hospitals and long-term care facilities in Washington. That support includes hospital and patient billing, customer service, insurance claims collection and account maintenance. HealthServicesNW is located in Renton, Washington.

What it does: This position will design, implement and evaluate functional/procedural and technical training programs for a Regional Business Office serving the Health Care industry. This person will be able to utilize a variety of teaching methods; including classroom instruction, group facilitation, computer-based and individual coaching. Working mainly with internal staff, senior management and client hospital staff, this position reports directly to the Manager of Education and Development.
REQUIREMENTS
What we want:
Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Significant, appropriate and relevant years of work experience may substitute for the degree requirement. Prefer education/instructional design, healthcare and medical revenue cycle management.

Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent verbal and written skills
Experience in instructional design and developing curricula.
Strong skills in group instruction and one-on-one coaching/tutoring.
PC Proficiency in MS Windows and Office applications.
Prefer knowledge of Publisher, PowerPoint, and/or related.
Familiarity with computer-based instruction.
Able to work in a highly productive and diverse team environment, sharing ideas, identifying problems and potential solutions.
Must be able to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects
Experience in a healthcare setting with a general understanding of issues related to third party reimbursement, managed care, and revenue cycle management is desirable
