Position: AERS Human Resources Generalist
Location: Dallas
Job Overview:
Provide management of the Human Resources function for AERS in specific offices of Deloitte (the "Firm"). Assist the HR Manager in the management of HR activities in AERS, especially as related to career development, employee relations, retention and recognition.
Job Responsibilities:
Work under the guidance and direction of the Mid America AERS HR Manager executing the following responsibilities:
- HR Business Partner - Partner with AERS leadership to implement HR strategy and business objectives. Work with leadership to drive culture development to support "where the best choose to be" strategy. Ensure alignment, integration, and adaptation of HR initiatives to enhance organizational capability to meet business
goals and objectives.
- Performance Management - Support HR processes related to mentoring, counseling, goal setting, performance feedback, and career planning. Heavy involvement in the mid-year and year-end performance evaluation process.
- Employee Relations - Maintain appropriate contact with AERS employees to stay abreast of concerns and address personnel issues.
- Compensation - Support activities surrounding the annual compensation process.
- HR, Women's Initiative and Diversity Plans - Work with AERS HR Manager to develop and support local Women's Initiative and Diversity plans.
- Orientation and Assimilation - Assist in the development and enhancement of existing orientation programs for new AERS employees to ensure proper assimilation into the Firm and local practice and to create consistency in Mid America. Facilitation of new hire orientation program on a rotational basis.
Other HR Matters - Support various HR processes for tracking and reporting;
headcount; maintenance of personnel information and other special projects. - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent is preferred. Will consider work experience with some college work.
- Two to five years prior HR generalist or HR related experience preferred.
- Necessary skills include: problem/issue identification and resolution, communication and presentation skills for both internal and external audiences, strong interpersonal and analytical skills, negotiation and facilitation skills to deal with delicate issues appropriately.
- Ability to manage sensitive material and information on a confidential basis.
