Corporate Recruiter
The Corporate Recruiter will perform staffing and employment functions to ensure highest quality candidates are recruited in an efficient, cost-effective manner. Support HR’s initiative of providing timely customer service to our client groups.
• Works with managers daily to identify job functions, requirements and qualifications, and develop recruiting strategy to ensure positions are accurately represented and potential sources for viable candidates are utilized. Posts positions on internet and intranet and lists jobs with external sources.
• Facilitates recruiting process daily by screening resumes, making initial contacts with applicants and conducting preliminary phone interviews, arranging interviews with hiring manager(s), making offers, and generating and sending offer letters.
• Works with Payroll/HRIS Coordinator to ensure new hire packages are prepared for various locations and information is current and correct. Discusses any updates with Head of Human Resources.
• Generates reports of employee data for organizations throughout On Command, for various government agencies and for unemployment vendor ensuring information is accurate and delivered in timely manner.
• Handles temporary hiring needs weekly by obtaining job requirements from manager, functions as liaison between manager and temporary agency, negotiates fees, validates invoices and authorizes payment, and manages relationship with vendor to ensure qualified individuals are hired.
• Assists other team members in supporting, organizing and executing departmental projects related to the efficient and compliant operation of the HR Department.
REQUIREMENTS
Expert knowledge of staffing and recruiting
Expert knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, data management, email, internet, payroll, reporting, human resources, web page software (preferably Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and Internet Explorer, ADP, Oracle, FrontPage, iVantage, Seagate, ReportSmith, Crystal Reports)
