Contract Recruiter - Phoenix, AZ
As a Contract Recruiter, your primary responsibilities include staffing within the Default division of Chase Home/Auto Finance with quality hires, understanding the business needs and partnering with the hiring manager and HR to fully understand the staffing strategy for the business. The main clients for this role are the hiring manager, candidate, and Human Resources. In addition, you will creatively source qualified candidates through a wide variety of channels (direct sourcing which includes cold calling and internet mining, job boards, employee referrals, community involvement, job fairs and our internal candidate database, etc.), understand Line of Business diversity goals and provide candidate slates in support of these goals, keep current on the local labor market and share information with clients and colleagues, and act as a subject matter expert for areas of staffing responsibility.
You will identify, evaluate and present qualified candidates to hiring manager for review. You will also provide regular progress updates to hiring manager throughout the process, drive recruitment process and ensure candidate decisions are made in a timely manner, and solicit feedback on candidates and refine recruiting strategy, as needed. You will partner with HR Business Partner to create offer based on current labor market, extend and negotiate employment offers with candidates by selling both the firm and the position. You will also complete pre-employment processes according to our guidelines.
This temporary position is expected to be a 3 to 6 month assignment.
REQUIREMENTS
Three years of recruitment experience working in a fast-paced environment required. One year of recruiting for mortgage positions is required. Experience with the Taleo product is preferred. Knowledge of advanced sourcing techniques is required. (cold calling and internet search techniques) Client focus, multi-tasking, communication, organizational, negotiation, influencing, and consulting skills required Prior experience handling sensitive/confidential information required Experience recruiting exempt, non-exempt, sales and support and financial services positions preferred Ability to address, respond, and follow-up with client needs Relationship management experience a must Bachelors degree preferred
