Compensation Specialist

EDUCATION: A Bachelor's degree. CCP designation is desired.

JOB DUTIES: Experience in all areas of North American compensation including: Variable /incentive compensation design and implementation, Sales compensation design and administration, Executive compensation, Stock Option design, trends and implementation, Salary Planning, Demonstrated experience in working in a global organization with multiple sites and with cross border project teams and customers.

EXPERIENCE: Strong business aptitude, with the ability to see the consequence of actions to the larger business. Demonstrated decision making ability in complex situations. Strong interpersonal, influence, oral, and written communications, coupled with demonstrated executive summary presentation skills. Excellent research, analytical, project management, computer and reporting skills a must. Strong external network within the compensation community. In-depth knowledge of competitor best practices and industry issues/trends. Proven experience in a management and/or leadership capacity driving North American compensation programs and policies within a multi-national organization. Must be familiar with workplace legislation to provide interpretation and advice to client groups. In addition, incumbents should have experience dealing with sensitive and confidential issues. Demonstrated experience in organizational and interpersonal skills. Oracle or SAP experience.
