C# Developer - 6 Openings
Vaco Technology has an immediate permanent and contract-to-permanent openings in Nashville, TN for SIX (6) mid and senior level C# (C SHARP) developers.Ideal candidates should meet the following requirements:POSITION SUMMARY: Design, and develop a sophisticated, high-transaction, national and international e-commerce platform using Microsoft .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET).RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, develop, and implement .NET applications in a high-volume transaction-oriented web production environment
Liaise with various IT and business departments, both within the US and internationally; collaborate in an international team environment
Apply expert level knowledge of Microsoft tools and technologies; quickly learn and utilize new tools and technologies, and transfer knowledge to team members
Mentor and develop mid-level engineersREQUIREMENTS:
BS/BA in Computer Science (or related field)
4 to 8 years experience designing/developing sophisticated web-based applications (primarily in a Microsoft environment)
4 to 8 years of high volume web/e-commerce design, development, and implementation experience; experience collaborating, building, and deploying mission-critical applications
2 to 3 years of .NET design/development experience (using C#, ASP.NET, and VB.NET); ability to implement Web Services and SOAP; strong relational database skills (SQL Server)
3 to 5 years of development experience using VB/COM, C++, and/or Java
Expert ability to design/develop production database (SQL Server) using complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers
Expert level mastery of object-oriented design and development concepts
Expert modeling skills are highly desired (using UML)
