Benefits Program Manager

Sunnyvale technology firm is seeking a contract Benefits Manager to successfully perform the following:
·Lead the benefits function of a fast growing, matrix'd organization, including design, management, and administration of all US benefits.
·Play a key role in the integration of company's acquisitions into its benefits programs.
·Ensure regulatory and legal compliance of all benefit plan administration, documents and participant communications.
·Develop systems and process to ensure the most effective and efficient administration of employee benefits.
·Keep current with the latest state of the art benefits thinking and design.
·Counsel management regarding the changing landscape of benefit program design & costs.
·Create well-crafted and user-friendly communications messages to keep employees informed and educated about their benefits and the objectives of the benefits programs.
·Drive the automated enrollment process for both new hires and open enrollment to ensure accuracy and security of employee benefit information.
·Build strong ongoing working relationships with benefit carriers and work with benefits broker to negotiate best terms for the company and its employees.

The ideal candidate will possess:
·Experience in building and maintaining relationships and negotiating with providers and vendors.
·Excellent organizational and time management skills
·Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills
·Strong knowledge of benefits law and the current benefits legislative environment.
·Strong customer service orientation with a keen understanding of the business perspective.
·Ability to communicate effectively across a wide array of employees, from senior management to semi skilled manufacturing employees, and the ability to effectively present in large employee forums.
·Strong written communication skills
·Ability to work under pressure in fast paced, constantly changing environment.
·Knowledge of claims filing, and billing and reconciliation processes.

BS/BA in Human Resources
CBP/CEBS desirable
