Job Title: Human Resources Benefits Analyst
Division: Human Resources
FLSA Status: Exempt
Summary: Focus on Benefits plan, design, and administration.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Design, implementation, and administration of employee benefits programs and policies including group medical, dental, life insurance, 401(k), LOA's, and other benefits. Consults with and advises employees, carriers, and other 3rd parties on eligibility, provisions, regulatory, and compliance issues. Maintains, coordinates, audits, and processes benefits records, billings.
- Spearhead implementation and facilitation of company wide benefits related projects and events, i.e. online enrollment.
- Inputs, assesses and maintains employee benefits data in benefits/payroll system.
- Ensure timely filing to meet government reporting requirements, i.e. 5500's, SAR's and SPD's. Handle HIPAA compliance implementation and documentation.
- Assists with new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
- May advise management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
- Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
- Investigates accidents and prepares reports for insurance carrier.
Requirements
Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and 4-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. ADP background desired.
