Wyeth Consumer Healthcare is a worldwide leader in the research, development, and marketing of innovative products, including three of the five top selling OTC brands in the U.S.: Advil®, Robitussin®, and Centrum®.

We currently have a career opportunity at our Richmond, VA location for an Assistant Manager, Human Resources. In this role you will utilize your Human Resources experience and knowledge to establish effective business partnering relationships to support our Richmond employee base of 350 employees consisting of non-exempt and exempt employees at 2 facilities.

Additional responsibilities include:
Provide HR and business support to client groups to assist line managers in accomplishing business objectives.
Counsel and advise managers and employees in employee relation's matters ensuring the fair and equitable treatment of employees and legal compliance at the site.
Support the Richmond based recruitment and placement efforts for positions at the site.
Analyze and interpret HR data and trends to help create strategies to improve business performance of site client groups. Manage projects to execute site and division HR strategies.
Promote diversity at the site, within the Divisional HR team, and serve as the HR representative to the Diversity Action Team for Sales and Customer Support and PR&D.
Conduct site HR training for managers and employees.
Conduct and coordinate the exit interview process for WCH Richmond to utilize feedback for the improvement of the Division.
Continue to improve and conduct New Employee Orientation sessions for Richmond WCH employees.
Coordinate the organizational review and salary planning processes for assigned clients.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or Business required. Master's degree required.
Minimum of 2-3 years Human Resources professional experience required.
Consumer Packaged goods experience preferred.
HR SAP experience preferred.
PC proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
15-20% travel required.
Ability to relocate required.
