Sales and Marketing Manager-Seaside Reservations

The Sales & Marketing Manager for Sea Side Reservations will be responsible for the creation and implementation of all sales & marketing strategies focusing on increasing occupancy over midweek and weekends for the existing condo rental market in Rocky Point, Mexico. Marketing efforts include all print and internet/website marketing strategies. Knowledge of sales processes and “buyer psychology” necessary. This position will report directly to Office Manager for Sea Side Reservations Phoenix location.
REQUIREMENTS
Sales
•Participate in all assigned Trade Shows
•Prospect target markets through cold calls and new client development and community involvement directed at increasing exposure in ALL market segments (leisure group, leisure transient and corporate group)
•Participate in monthly industry organizations to increase exposure for Sea Side (i.e. ESMA, HSMAI, SCC, NTA and Concierge Network)
•Meet with Rocky Point “vacation partners” (i.e. charter companies, scuba shops, restaurants, spas etc…) each month in order to continue to build “partnerships” that enhance the guest’s experience
•Continually seek out niche markets focusing on travel opportunities during “need periods”.
•In charge of all outside sales.
Marketing

•Work with a designated printing company on coordinating the design and “message” of all print marketing pieces used in target market ad campaigns
•Work with Sea Side’s Internet Marketing contact to design all monthly email messages to current client data base
•Review all websites each month for accurate text and marketing campaign strategy changes/additions. Coordinate these changes with Internet Marketing contacts both internally & externally
•Develop marketing campaigns/packages designed to target markets that enhance weekday and weekend off peak patterns
•Assist in the development of a quarterly newsletter that is sent to the owner market
•Assist in writing Press Releases as needed
•Continually seek out new marketing opportunities
Administration
•Maintain accurate account files and client database
•Update existing Marketing Plan/Calendar on a monthly basis
•Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office and Internet channels required
•Prepare monthly sales reports outlining sales call activity and marketing projects. Discuss this report in the weekly team meeting at the Phoenix Office
•Assist in acting as a liaison between Sea Side Reservations and Condo Owners
