Operations Manager for Archstone in the Inland Empire Area

Archstone-Smith is one of the nation's leading owners, operators, developers and acquirers of apartments in major metropolitan areas across the country. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


To maximize the long-term operating performance of his or her portfolio of 5 to 8 properties;
Effective personnel management and development;
A thorough understanding of the competitive market;
High standards for customer service;
The physical condition of the properties;
Operating procedures are key to successful management of the portfolio.




Qualified candidates must have 7 to 10 years professional experience, which should include experience in real estate asset and/or property management and one year of experience in a Senior Community Manager position. Candidates must also have the following skills:




Demonstrated leader;

Strong communication skills;

High level of professionalism;

Teacher and team builder;

Autonomous, hands-on proactive;

Team player;

High tolerance for ambiguity and change;

On-site experience is preferred. Experience in a fast-paced, rapid growth environment will be helpful;

Four-year college degree from an accredited institution; degree in business or related field is preferred;
