Human Resources Director

Casino Executive Search, LLC, has been retained by a valued client to identify an experienced Communications Specialist - Media Specialist - PR.

The Communications Specialists will work directly with the casino’s Public Relations Director in all phases of PR – including writing and distributing press releases, evaluating PR opportunities, coordinating media coverage of casino events and working on two of the casino’s magazines. This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as outstanding organization skills.

Primary responsibilities include:

Build PR toolkit to include press materials for local markets (entertainment events, charity partnerships and other casino promotions).
Research, write and distribute press releases on a variety of casino-related topics.
Assist in the publication of the magazines
research, writing, editing and coordinating artwork.
Work with Public Relations Consultant on proactive publicity campaigns.
Work to enhance the brand of the Casino/Resort within all the casino’s target audiences.

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations or related field
Minimum 5 years experience in the media, entertainment or hospitality industry
Ability to communicate well to a variety of audiences in multi-media environments
Strong persuasion, speaking, writing skills
Strong deadline orientation
Ability to handle multiple tasks in high pressure environment
PC skills and Internet research capabilities
Spanish-speaking a plus
