Join the professionals on our team and share in a quality career experience.Through collaboration with the Medical Director, department director and/or supervisor provides both invasive and noninvasive therapeutic, diagnostic, consultative and supportive respiratory services for patients in the acute care facilities of Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare, Southeastern Wisconsin Region.. Demonstrates competence and functions independently utilizing appropriate judgment in all patient settings. Actively participates in resuscitative and emergent situations. Evaluates effectiveness of care and makes recommendations to the physician. Educates patients/family members and staff as needed. Performs minor troubleshooting, maintains documentation in all appropriate areas and complies with infection control and safety practices.Job RequirementsAssociate Degree in Respiratory Care. 3-4 years of experience in acute care setting. Problem solving and decision making for patient care and equipment use; ability to handle the stress associated with high workload, assignment through the hospital, STAT situations, and multiple duties.
Ability to work well with others.
Good mechanical aptitude and self-motivation skills.
