Hours: approx.56 hrs. ppJob Details:
The Registered Dietitian works with other members of the health care team to assess, educate and promote optimal nutrition, eating behaviors, feeding skills and health status of patients/clients seen in the Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center and in the community. This position will provide medical nutrition therapy for both Inpatient and Outpatient services.
Education/Learning Experience:
Required: Graduate of Coordinated Undergraduate Dietetic Program or equivalent of an internship. Registered Dietitian status.
Desired: Advanced training in specialized areas of dietetics.Work Experience:
Desired: 1-3 years.Skills/Knowledge:
Required: Work in certain areas requires specialized training or experience (diabetes education, metabolic support, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Renal Dialysis). Strong communication skills, excellent customer service, basic computer skills, ability to provide one-on-one counseling as well as speak to groups of various sizes.
Desired: Knowledge of state, federal and regulatory standards for nutrition related activities.Licenses/Certifications:
Required: Registered as a Dietitian with Commission on Dietetic Registration. Registered Dietitian State Certification or Licensure.
Desired: Area specific certification
