Psychiatric Resource Clinician

Department: Behavioral HealthSchedule: Full-timeShift: Night shiftHours: Mon-Thurs 5:00pm - 3:00amJob Details: MSW or Master's in Psychology -Current Wyoming Therapy license (LCSW, LMFT or LPC) Works in collaboration with Emergency Department physicians/staff and BHS on call Psychiatrists to provide mental health assessments and services to patients presenting with an emergent psychiatric condition. Responsible for conducting mental assessments and facilitating patient admission to the appropriate level of care, as needed. Arranges and coordinates diversions to other facilities if an appropriate bed is not available at UMC. Provides assistance and support to UMC medical units treating patients with co-occuring psychiatric conditions or disorders. Works under the supervision of the Psychiatric Assessment and Resource Team Coordinator.
