Pharmacy Technician I - Dr Phone Call

Must be a Certified and licensed Pharmacy Technician with a minimum of one year experience as a technician.





Initiates phone calls to physician offices to verify missing or illegible information and re-translates prescriptions. Follows through on standard operating procedures, problem solving and troubleshooting within the Med B department. Additional duties as assigned. **Shift is 600a-230p, M-F.Job Requirements


Must be a Certified and licensed Pharmacy Technician with a minimum of one year experience as a technician. Ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal / communication and PC skills. Must have the ability to effectively identify and define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Must have the ability to calculate figures, rates, ratios, percents and amounts in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals for the purpose of statistically reporting and assessing pharmacy performance. Must be highly organized and have the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously. Spanish as a second language, or prior Medicare B experience a plus.





High School or GED required.





Minimum one year experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
