The Director of Cancer Services will:
Directs the services, technology and staff necessary to maintain excellence in the administration of care for medical oncology, radiation oncology and infusion patients.
Demonstrates sound professional practices in administration; emphasizing Center-wide values, quality of care, physician involvement, cost effectiveness, and compliance with state and federal statutes and accreditation guidelines.
Establishes and maintains policies, procedures, standards, and objectives for the provision of care.
Focuses on the growth of the Cancer Service Line in relation to our primary, secondary, tertiary market areas including the development of alliances, as supported by oncology physicians, with other acute providers.
Effectively selects, trains, develops and directs staff members by establishing competencies and providing ongoing performance feedback.

Job Requirements
The Director of Cancer Services must possess the following:
Master’s degree in business or healthcare related field preferred.
Minimum of four years of management experience working with budgets and strategic plans.
Broad knowledge of the operation of the oncology service line and oncology management experience preferred.
