Home-based working with kids between birth and 3 years of age.

REQUIREMENTS
Effectively serves as a parent trainer and family advocate for infants or toddlers and their families.
Scheduling and attending weekly client home visits, while maintaining flexibility in scheduling so as not to disrupt families' routines.
Creatively using materials, toys, and therapeutic equipment that are developmentally appropriate for each unique child.
Educating and training parents in child development, behavior management, and educational and therapeutic strategies.
Providing families with community resources, and keeping them informed of trainings, workshops, and events that may be of benefit or interest to their child and family.
Providing written instructional and informational materials to families, when appropriate.
Serving as an advocate for the families, while encouraging self-sufficiency and independence by empowering families to advocate for themselves.
Developing rapport with families through active listening, genuineness, empathic understanding, and respectful communication, while allowing the families' priorities to guide service delivery.
Maintain program records consistently and accurately.
Work effectively as part of a team consisting of coworkers, therapists, teachers, support coordinators, and other professionals.
Contributes to program's ongoing success and productivity.
Maintains professional standards and work habits.
Other duties as assigned by Director.
Candidates must pass a drug screen and a criminal background check prior to the first day of employment. Also, must be able to obtain a Class I fingerprint clearance card.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have Bachelor's Degree in child development, or related area.
Required to have reliable transportation.
Demonstrated success working with children.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
