Concurrent Review Nurse (Independent, field position)

We are seeking a motivated RN with good communication skills to join our Fortune 100 healthcare company as a field-based Concurrent Review Nurse. The hired individual will work out of his/her home and see patients in one or two different local hospitals. He/she will be the only Ovations employee in these hospitals.

Key responsibilities include:


Performing on-site concurrent review of patients


Planning patient discharges using Millman and Roberts (M&R) criteria


Interfacing with clinical staff and medical director


Documenting all cases while in the field

Job Requirements:

Only licensed RNs with extensive acute care experience will be considered for this position. Basic computer proficiency is also necessary, as is an Associate's or bachelor's degree. A background in discharger planning and/or concurrent review is preferred, and familiarity with M&R criteria is a plus.
