North Star Behavioral Health in Anchorage, Alaska is seeking a Assistant Director of Nursing for our 74 bed, acute behavioral health hospital. The North Star Behavioral Health System, owned by Universal Health Services includes: an acute behavioral health hospital, 3 residential treatment centers and an outpatient counselling center. We treat children ages 4-18 who experience serious mental, emotional, or behavioral problems in their home, school, and community. North Star provides a safe environment for those who demonstrate symptoms or behaviors needing 24-hour supervision.
REQUIREMENTS
Masters in Nursing is required. Psychiatric Nursing experience is preferred. Position will assist the Director of Nursing in directing and managing the delivery of quality nursing care services; to effectively integrate nursing care into clients’ interdisciplinary treatment program, to direct and manage an effective organization-wide clinical service delivery system.
