Seafood Team Member

Performs functions related to the cutting, display and selling of product. Provides efficient and courteous customer service. 1. Performs all duties of Seafood Clerk 1 position. 2. Provide excellent customer service. 3. Assist Team Leader in organizing and displaying product. 4. Contributes to the training of Seafood Clerk 1 position. 5. Set up all counter displays; suggest new product and display ideas. 6. Perform basic cutting. 7. Monitor and prevent spoilage with proper rotation for all walk-in and freezer back stock. 8. May order selected products; receive incoming product. 9. Open and close department as assigned. 10. Follow established Weights and Measures procedures (TARES). 11. General knowledge of all aspects of department. 12. Basic knowledge of and can perform ordering and receiving procedures. 13. Understand PLU and price changes procedures. 14. Request appropriate signage when necessary. 15. Perform other duties, as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
1. 1-2 years department experience or industry equivalent 2. Passion and appreciation for quality food. 3. Clear and effective communicator. 4. Patient and enjoys working and mentoring people. 5. Ability to work well with others as a team. 6. Strong organizational skills. 7. Knowledge of all relevant Whole Foods Market policies and standards. 8.
