Regional Sales Manager

Primary Responsibility:
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for all aspects of the field operations of specified chain assignments. Provide direct supervision to Sales Supervisor and Reset Supervisor. Resolve problems when they occur to maximize efficiencies.

Essential Functions:
Direct work of assigned Sales Supervisors and Reset Supervisor. Establish deadlines; provide guidance and direction on selling and company rules and regulations.
May provide backup support for Sales Supervisor when needed.
Complete performance reviews and performance coaching of associates and store audits. Initiate action and approve, or recommend approval of promotions, merit increases, transfers, leaves of absences and other personnel actions.
Partner with Human Resources to identify, hire, train, and retain qualified associates.
Maintain sales budget and control expenses.
Generate reports and track sales and assigned areas overall performance and store condition using approved procedures.
Participate in the development and implementation of goals and objectives for the Sales Department. Forecast the sales plan and recommend changes.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements:
Two (2) years experience managing a sales workforce, working in grocery chains, and working with mass merchants required. Previous distribution experience and proficiency with MS Office required. An Associates Degree or equivalent preferred. Must have valid driver’s license and proof of insurance as defined by company policies.
