Marketing/Category Analyst

This Fortune 500 Company located in the Northeast is currently looking for a Marketing/Category Analyst for growth opportunities within their organization.

Position - Marketing / Category Analyst
Salary Range - 55-72K
Bonus - Eligible

Location - Southern Boston Area

This person will focus on assigned Large formats for their assigned division/category. This person will work closely with the category managers and analysts on the assigned formats teams, as well as the national and regional sales teams.

Key areas of responsibility will be:
-Deliver weekly retail link based reporting/scorecarding to the buyer and sales teams
-Support category management selling efforts through assortment and modular analysis
-Support sales teams fact based selling needs for new items presentations, promotional analysis and ongoing planning

Key job accountabilities:
-Reporting
-Weekly buyer scorecards
-Sales tracking
-New item distribution tracking
-Promotional analysis/planning
-Other ongoing buyer/sales team reports Modular/Assortment Analysis
-Fair share of space analysis
-Store/club of the community analysis
-Distribution analysis Data support and maintenance for reporting tools using MS Access or 3rd party software
-Automation of retail link downloads
-Formatting/processing of data
-Integration with other data sources Ad-hoc analysis for sales/regional teams
-Event analysis
-Store/club/region performance
-Service/inventory analysis

Job Requirements:
-Bachelor's Degree preferred
-2+ years analyst experience
-Knowledge of Space Management and Space Management Systems
-Knowledge of Nielson or IRI Systems
-Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel and Access
-Customer experience in sales or category management
-Consumer packaged goods industry knowledge preferred.NO RELOCATION
