Florest Specialist

1. Perform all duties and responsibilities related to floral buying and sales 2. Provide excellent customer service. 3. Monitor and prevent spoilage. 4. Communicate pertinent product information to team. 5. Maintain adequate inventory to maximize sales. 6. Review the competition and do comp shops on a regular basis. 7. Purchase product for department. 8. Process invoices in a timely manner accurately. 9. Rectify and review purchase journal. 10. Participate in monthly inventory. 11. Request signs, place signs, ensure quality and accuracy with department. 12. Maintain excellent communication with CDC. 13. Read regional memos. 14. Comply with all applicable State of California Health and Safety Codes. 15. Perform other duties, as assigned. 16. Support team and Team Leader.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Minimum 2 years experience of Floral Clerk bucket shop level or equivalent a plus 2. Analytical ability and proficiency in math needed to calculate Gross Profit Margin, monitor profitability and manage inventory. 3. Comprehensive knowledge to handle and care for product in order to maintain integrity of product. 4. Stay current with all market conditions and information. 5. Excellent communication skills. 6. Excel proficiency a plus.
