Department Manager

Seeking an experienced professional to oversee the department of surgery, understand and run all aspects of a busy surgical practice. Responsibilities include orientation, supervision of staff, maintaining budgets and overseeing all billing operations. This person will coordinate residency and student programs, on call schedules, understand all aspects of physician practice scheduling, patient flow, and maintain databases and reports for the department. Experience in work, excel, power point required and access is helpful.Candidates should have a bachelor's degree, or other related administrative schooling and 3-4 years of office management (prefer medical office management, including supervisory & budgeting responsibility).
