Demo Specialist

Responsibilities o Perform up to 20 product demonstrations per month. o Sell product via sampling, cooking, serving suggestions and personal experience. o Adhere to sanitation procedures when doing a demonstration and handling food. o Creatively merchandise demo product. o Work with store artist to create signage. o Facilitate special tastings and vendor demo days. o Closely assist the Marketing Team Leader to execute in-store and offsite marketing events. o Use computer and online tools for various reports. o Record sales of product movement from all demos on the Sales Summary Report and report sales to appropriate department Team Leader. o Check all Demo Team Member reports on a weekly basis. o Work with Marketing Team Leader and applicable team leaders to create a monthly calendar of demos. o Communicate with Regional Demo Manager any in-store issues regarding product availability or changes in demo schedule. o Order demo supplies for all departments on a regular basis. o Attend all demo, team and store meetings. o Provide backup for Marketing Team Leader on an as needed basis. o Check and respond to email and voicemail on a daily basis. o Work directly with outside vendors.
REQUIREMENTS
o Strong interpersonal skills o Motivated, organized and highly productive o Able to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the store, including nights, weekends and holidays as required o Creative with an eye for detail o Ability to cook with or without a recipe o In-depth knowledge of food and food preparation techniques o Able to stand for (4) hours at a time and lift 50 lbs o Good problem-solving, prioritizing and multi-tasking skills o Excellent written and verbal communication skills o Willingness to work with meat and non-meat products o Excellent customer service skills o Good computer skills (Outlook, Word and Excel) o Personal sales skills o Able to work independently but understand the importance of working as a team o Prior marketing experience and/or supervisory experience a plus!
