Dairy Specialist

1. Orders all dairy and perishable grocery products. 2. Responsible for achieving and exceeding margin and sales targets. 3. Request and ensure proper signs for all sale items. 4. Participates in regional promotional program. 5. Process invoices and credits. 6. Controls spoilage; achieves turns goals: and participates in monthly inventory. 7. Must strive to receive TCS scores of 9 or better. 8. Work to achieve all Grocery Team Leader and Store Team Leader goals (especially in dairy and perishable Grocery products) 9. Comply with all applicable State of California Health and Safety Codes. 10. Provide excellent customer service. 11. Perform other duties, as assigned by Team Leader
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 1 year retail grocery experience, or equivalent Excellent customer service skills and aptitude Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills Working knowledge of Whole Foods buying/pricing system Positive - “can do” attitude combined with strong work ethic Organization, communication, and interpersonal skills Schedule flexibility Attention to detail Proficient in math skills (addition, substation, multiplication and division). Excel proficiency a plus Ability to perform physical requirements of position. Proper use of baler, and pallet jack (must be 18 years of age or older). Ability to work well with others.
