Back-up Breaker

Job Summary Works together with other Team Members to assure that all objectives and goals of the department and store, as communicated by the Coordinator and Store Leadership, are met or exceeded. Abides by the strictest standards of physical safety and sanitation. Essential Duties Follow through on all Team Member questions and requests. Ability to work well within a team. Can lift a minimum of 15 up to 40 pounds. Keep department supplies filled and maintained. Keep all supply shelves clean and stocked. Practice safe use of all tools and equipment required by the position. Practice proper care and maintenance of all equipment. Know and practice proper lifting techniques. Report safety violations and hazards immediately. Attend all department, store and training meetings when scheduled. Answer telephones, direct calls and page recipients. Prepare daily receipts for deposit. Ensure that deposit is picked up by security service. Reconcile EPS with 99 report. Transfer all totals into breaker system or CPS. Order change as needed for Admin and Front End use. Count cash box daily and report results to Assoc. FE Coordinator weekly. Input Kiwi orders when applicable. Process coupons for reimbursement. Order office and store supplies. Accounts Payable using MRU and Peoplesoft. Be crossed trained in SOS duties. Accountability for daily deposit. Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Ensure that deadlines are met. Regular attendance is essential. Perform other duties as assigned by Store Operations Specialist/Store Leadership.

Job Requirements Able to meet physical job requirements. Must have a passion for natural foods. Able to communicate effectively with others and convey enthusiasm. Possess some customer service experience. Must be self-motivated and solution oriented. Is available for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the department. Detail oriented with multitasking capability. Ten key by touch and data entry speed and accuracy. High level of integrity. Working Conditions Exposure to temperature variations and wet conditions. May walk and work on uneven surfaces. Requires reaching above and below shoulder height. Some exposure to dust, gas, fumes and chemicals. Repetitive use of hands with power grasping and fine manipulation. May need to use a ladder or stool to reach product or supplies. Exposure to continuous background and occasional loud noises. Walking surfaces are sometimes slick. Repetitive stretching and lifting required. Any item over 40 pounds requires a team lift.
