We are currently seeking a Sales Trainer to work closely with the manager in designing and implementing a comprehensive training program for the Sales, Marketing, Actuarial, and Underwriting departments of IBC. The successful candidate will develop specific modules to train the marketing sales staff on product information, consultative selling techniques, and soft skills. Working closely with the management teams, the Trainer will develop needs assessment methodologies and implement training that addresses skill gaps and development areas. The Trainer will also design materials that relate to the recruitment, retraining of current staff.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualified candidates will possess:
A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Education or equivalent business experience; Masters degree in Adult Education or Adult Learning Theory a plus
A minimum of three years experience designing and delivering training programs
Demonstrated knowledge of sales processes such as consultative selling
Experience in insurance or other financial fields preferred
Demonstrated proficiency with presentation, database and spreadsheet software
